I am a veteran sixth grade reading, language arts, and geography teacher at Tomlin Middle School in Plant City, Florida. Teaching is my calling, and being in class with my "angels" is the best part of my school day. My goal as an educator is to motivate my students to become avid readers and writers, lifelong learners, and lovers of the earth and mankind.

Jeff brought in a football-shaped cake for his creative book response on the book Crackback by John Coy. After everyone had been served, I snapped this picture of Hunter, Josh, Jeff, and Ian wolfing down the leftovers. I think Chandler was just observing them demolish the remains.

That's why Hunter rarely eats lunch. :0) He said it was due to "having" to play four square. Now I see (according to this pic. and pics. in the past) that he's fed in class. Thanks for keeping my son fed. :0) SS

the choclate cake was absolutely delicous but i was not very hungry after lunch.
